HelpBeatCOVID19 is a COVID-19 Symptom Tracker developed by the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

It is an inclusive system that focuses on health and wellness tracking across the Southeast, with an emphasis on underserved communities and underrepresented populations. As hot spots across the Deep South increase, this system will help provide surveillance in areas that are typically under surveilled. Focusing on regional health disparities, HelpBeatCOVID19 looks at overall health of a given zip code and region. Given the major issues with health disparities in Alabama and the Southeast, this inclusive system will fill a need and be of a great public health value.
